Julie and Steve Edwards travel the American west and the world from their home base in the Last Best Place – Missoula, Montana.

A passionate traveler and lover of highways, dirt roads, and hiking trails, Julie has wandered through nineteen countries in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East and is always looking for the next destination. Julie’s travel writing and photography have been featured in the Christian Science Monitor, SA4x4 Overland Adventure Magazine, Travel Africa, She Explores, and Camas: The Nature of the West. When he’s not wrenching on their Jeep or his classic VW, Steve can be found day-dreaming about Namibia, writing about cars, and planning their next escape. He blogs with the small but knowledgeable crew at Jalopnik’s overland blog, Overland and Expedition. Steve lags behind in countries visited at only seventeen, but he’ll get there.

Julie and Steve have also been on the teaching staff at Overland Expo East, and are looking forward to joining Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona in May 2017 as instructors again.
